  Odáig jutottam, hogy van ez:

  1, On new machine install Glacier pkg. Take note of which volume you install to.
  --- If you're not asked which volume, just go to Glacier pkg details after it's installed and check the volume.
  
  2, On old machine first stop and then uninstall the Glacier pkg. (ezt a lépést kihagytam, mert a régi NAS már eléggé offline)
  
  
  3, In Glacier pkg on new machine go to "Restore" section"Click the "Retrieve task" button. When asked give the Amazon credentials.
  
  4, After all tasks retrieved (can take a long while) stop Glacier service on new NAS.
  -----NOTE-------- MAKE ABSOLUTELY SURE NO OTHER DEVICE IS ACCESSING THIS VAULT. IT *WILL* WRECK THE VAULT!
  ------This is the reason you were told to uninstall from the old machine above. You have been warned!!
  
  5, ssh as root to the new nas.
  cd /volumeX/\@appstore\Glacierbackup\etc\
  -- where volumeX= whatever volume you installed Glacier to and noted from above.
  
  6, using whatever text editor you like edit synoglacierbkp.conf (vi alapból telepítve)
  
  
  7, find the line "last_bkp_status=6"
  Change the value 4 (INSERT, értéket átír, ESC). This makes the retrieved backup job editable and reusable. The vault is now "re-linked", so to speak, to the backup job on the new NAS.
  
  8, Save and exit. (:wq)
  
  
  9, Start Glacier service

  Apró különbségek 2017 óta:
  Jelenleg DSM 7.x a friss változat, amiben már van "relink" gomb a sikeres retrieve után.
  Viszont ez a gomb egy egész új backupot akar készíteni. (last_bkp_status=0)
  Ezt írtam át 4-re, ami után rányomt a "Back up now" gombra, és 1-2 percen belül "Success" státuszt mutatott.
