Plusz EU cert. sincs még, szerintem ez is elég nagy gond. Bár nincs adatom arról, hogy mennyi idő ezt megcsinálni egy új termék + új gyártó kombó esetén.

    US / EU Certification
We started the certification process a long time ago, parallel processing as much as possible. The first units from the 200 unit batch were sent to certify Meticulous. The good news is that we have successfully passed the safety tests and are down to approving individual components. We discovered one component (the power switch) is harder to source than we would like for mass production and decided to test / certify two secondary suppliers to reduce the risk that a delivery issue impacts our production schedule. They have been stress testing the component for the last few days and we expect to hear back soon.
EDIT: We just received word that our two backup Power Switches have passed testing.
The second core component of certifying is WiFi/Bluetooth. This was expected to be straightforward as our connectivity components are already certified, and the lab is testing that embedding them into our product doesn’t create issues. What should have taken a few days has taken close to three weeks as we discovered the WiFi/Bluetooth module maker had a bug in their testing script (!). As of 3 days ago, the company provided a manual fix and Xavi is going to the lab today to help them sort this issue out. If this is resolved we should have WiFi/Bluetooth certification results in about 10 days.

We are at a point where we do not expect any design or component changes, which is the source of real risk from the certification process - and which is why we had placed the order for components over a month ago.
