  It's generally recommended to let the monitor run the pixel refresh while in standby, rather than turning it off completely
  While some monitors might offer a manual pixel refresh option, it's generally recommended to allow the automatic refresh during standby. Turning the monitor off completely may not trigger the necessary refresh cycle

  ASUS:
  When the power indicator light is on, after five minutes in standby mode, the ROG logo will flash five times, and then the pixel refresh process will start and last for about 5-6 minutes. After completion, the ROG logo will flash five times again.
