  Web Developer (fix term- 1,5 year)

  LOCATION: Szekesfehervar, Hungary

  REPORTS TO: IT Manager Valves Europe

  SUMMARY OF ROLE
  An experienced web developer is required to assist in the support and development of Intranet business applications. You will be responsible for maintaining existing applications that interface with various business systems and will be involved with future projects to both upgrade and develop new tools for the business.

  SPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Routine maintenance of the Intranet environment, including the web servers and SQL database administration. This will include house keeping, backups and daily checks.
  • Troubleshoot / diagnose problems with existing applications.
  • Provide end user help and support.
  • Propose, design and build new applications.
  • Have good presentation skills to demonstrate design ideas and build progress.
  • Work closely with the WEB project leader.
  • Able to travel.

  REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
  • College/University degree in IT or equivalent,
  • PHP,
  • Visual Studio VB.Net,
  • JavaScript,
  • jQuery,
  • Solid understanding of relational databases,
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft SQL,
  • Windows Server 2008,
  • IIS 7.5 (Internet Information Services),
  • Willing to travel.
