  In Jan 2008, both AMD and NVIDIA will be launching their new weapons, the AMD 780G and the NVIDIA MCP78 series of chipsets.
  
  Both chipsets comes with integrated graphics but now it is upgraded to support DX10.
  
  The more interesting feature is that it supports Hybrid SLI (NVIDIA) or Hybrid CrossFire (AMD). Both features are quite similar in nature. Basically, when the board is paired up with an external graphics card say a 8500GT with MCP78 board or a HD 2400XT with a AMD 780G board, SLI or CrossFire can be enabled running SLI or CF with the embedded graphics.
  
  News have been circulating on the net that Hybrid SLI with a 8500GT lost to Hybrid CrossFire with a HD 2400XT.
  
  We will have to wait and see when we get hold of the boards next year. Stay tuned.
