  We are looking for a

  Reference Data – Support Engineer

  For our Budapest Office

  MS Reference Data Support Engineer will be responsible for deploying, maintaining, and supporting MSRD infrastructure and related applications. Activities the candidate will be responsible for:
  • Configuration, deployment, and verification of MS Reference Data systems
  • Provide documentation and training for Level 2 support personnel
  • Escalation point for level 2 support personnel and liaison to the Engineering/Development team.
  • Outage Management - responsible for technical resolution and the tracking of follow-ups for outages in MS Reference Data products.

  Skills Required:
  Technical Skills
  • Strong architecture/deployment experience with Sun One Directory server , preferably with DS 6.X or 7.X in a Unix environment
  • Custom ACI design
  • Custom Schema development
  • Good Shell/Perl programming skills
  • Experience in troubleshooting issues in a distributed system
  • Experience in maintaining Highly Available systems
  • Experience with source control systems

  Professional Skills
  • At least 3 years of professional work experience
  • Strong trouble shooting/problem solving capability
  • Effective people skills for coordinating between developers, users, support personnel and internal clients
  • Self starter, motivated and can work unsupervised
  • Structured/organized approach to projects and able to set and meet delivery dates
  • Effective verbal and written communications skills
  • Understand and execute any part of a full production product cycle including; requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, production turnover, documentation and post- production support.
  • Able to work in a fast changing environment and work under pressure

  • Sun Identity Manager experience
  • Virtual Directory
  • Microsoft Active Directory
  • LDAP APIs
