W7-nel semmi dolgod. Align nem lehet utolag csinalni, ezt a particio letrehozasakor kell biztositani. Ha lemented valamivel a particiot (Ghost, Acronis stb.) valahova, ujraparticionalod az eredeti diszket es utanna visszairod (persze a mentes "partition to file" es nem "disk to file" kellett hogy legyen) akkor OK lesz.

"Igazitas". Az XP egy ures diszken az uj particiot a 63-as sektornal kezdi ami nem jo, mert igy a 32256-odik bytenal kezd. Ez 31.5kB es igy nem ul semmivel sem amit az OS-tol kaphat iras ugyben. Osregi boot okai vannak amiert ez igy van. Ha ugy igazitod hogy mondjuk 64kB, 128kB vagy epp 1MB-nal (Vista, W7, W2K8 csinalja igy) kezdojon akkor jobb lesz a veletlen iras teljesitmeny.

"Abstract
We examine the write endurance of USB flash drives
using a range of approaches: chip-level measurements,
reverse engineering, timing analysis, whole-device endurance
testing, and simulation. The focus of our investigation
is not only measured endurance, but underlying
factors at the level of chips and algorithms—both typical
and ideal—which determine the endurance of a device.
Our chip-level measurements show endurance far in
excess of nominal values quoted by manufacturers, by
a factor of as much as 100. We reverse engineer
specifics of the Flash Translation Layers (FTLs) used
by several devices, and find a close correlation between
measured whole-device endurance and predictions from
reverse-engineered FTL parameters and measured chip
endurance values. We present methods based on analysis
of operation latency which provide a non-intrusive
mechanism for determining FTL parameters. Finally we
present Monte Carlo simulation results giving numerical
bounds on endurance achievable by any on-line algorithm

Ha csak akkora meret kell akkor az Intel X25-V Value 40GB €100 alatt van. Ez olcsobb mint a legtobb 30/32GB a tobbi gyartotol es van TRIM.
64GB-ert mar €150 fole kell menned. Ott a €150-200 kozott van rengeteg, kerdes kell-e a plusz kapacitas. GOndolom annyira nem ha a 32-eseken is gondolkodsz.
