  But her flair isn't just visual - it's deeply tied to her gameplay. Virtuosa introduces a unique Posture System that allows her to shift between three distinct combat modes: Duelist Posture for precise 1v1 combat, Guarded Posture for fending off ganks, and Swarming Posture for overwhelming group fights. This fluidity gives her one of the most adaptable kits in the game.

  Her feats further emphasize her flexibility and support capabilities. She can quickly switch Postures with Muscle Memory, heal slightly upon entering a new one with Artful Improvisation, and punish enemies with enhanced damage after ripostes via Superior Retort. Her final feat, Rejuvenating Spirit, delivers a powerful team-wide heal and damage reduction, making her an asset in team play. Supporting this, a new global feature now lets players view allied health bars via the Team VS widget, helping feats like hers shine even more clearly.

  Under the hood, Virtuosa is one of the most technically ambitious heroes to date. Instead of traditional blocking, she uses dynamic evasions tied to the trajectory of incoming attacks. This new tech allows her to perform a unique, in-place dodge animation that precisely matches the angle of the strike - something made possible by categorizing attack arcs in real-time and feeding them into the animation system.
  Visually, she's a showstopper. From her playful executions to emotes, every animation was built to reflect her bold, over-the-top personality. The art and modeling team delivered a full range of armor sets that balance elegance, eccentricity, and battle-readiness. Whether you want to look commanding, quirky, or fierce, Virtuosa has the gear to match.

  The Virtuosa Hero will be exclusively available for purchase starting July 24 for 9.99$ USD as a bundle that includes the Hero, one Ornament, one Elite Outfit, seven days of Champion Status and three scavenger crates.   Year 9 Season 2 introduces a narrative shift, with the focus moving away from the advancing Khatun forces. Instead, Defiance centers on a pirate---the new hero skin, Captain Coalheart---and his crew aboard The Lonecrow. Coalheart sets out to claim a hidden treasure left behind after a violent storm forced the Horkos leader, Vortiger, to abandon his stronghold.

  Seasonal content arrives in waves. Launching on June 12th, the game will receive a new hero skin, Captain Coalheart available for the Pirate Hero, the Y9S2 Battle Pass and a Legacy Pass return from Y5S2, themed around extreme heat and hallucination. We also looked at the upcoming seasonal weapons.

  

  The Warrior's Den returned on June 11th to kick off For Honor's latest season: Y9S2: Defiance, set to launch on June 12th. With a brand-new theme, exciting content updates, visual upgrades, and the beginning of the competitive circuit, the show laid out a packed roadmap.
  This season will also feature Hero Fests for Black Prior, Medjay, and Warlord, giving players the chance to explore these heroes with unique bundles and free week access throughout the season. In addition, the fan-favorite Hyper Duel throwback event is making a return this Title Update, bringing back intense 1v1 action

  

  Seasonal content arrives in waves. Launching on June 12th, the game will receive a new hero skin, Captain Coalheart available for the Pirate Hero, the Y9S2 Battle Pass and a Legacy Pass return from Y5S2, themed around extreme heat and hallucination

  

  The Battle Pass features abyssal-themed cosmetics like the Abyssal Scourge outfit, Jackdaw's Shanty emote, and the Beggar's Treasure execution to only name a few.
  The Legacy Pass items are equally enticing and will include the Heavenly Mirage and Shriveling Mirage battle outfits, a paired emote (Head to Head), and a haunting execution called Mirage of Encirclement. And much more!
  On the fashion side, Viking heroes will receive all-new armor variations, which were shown off in detail. These new looks carry forward the raw, rugged energy of the North.

  

  Converted Map: A New Battlefield

  Reimagined the Canyon battlefield into a converted map, launching alongside the season update. The transformation reflects the ongoing evolution of Heathmoor - war banners signifying the Khatuns' presence. The canyon now hides Vortiger's lost treasure, setting the stage for fierce new encounters in Dominion, Brawl and Duel.

  

  Behind the Visual Curtain: QoL and Graphics Updates
  This season introduces technical improvements that enhance For Honor's visual fidelity. A new system called Skin Sub-Surface Scattering (SSSS) improves how light interacts with character models, especially visible on exposed skin. Alongside that, dynamic wind effects and improved water physics bring more life to environments. These upgrades contribute to a more immersive experience on the battlefield.

  Testing Grounds: Defensive Dodge Properties Update
  This season's Testing Grounds segment focused on both assassin and non-assassin heroes. Updates included: all side deflects on front dodge for all assassin heroes and stance change in the dodge direction mechanics for all non-assassin heroes.

  New Hero Skin: Queen Kalliopi

Her unmatched skill and magnetic presence have made her a crowd favorite, with chants of her name echoing through the stands as she topples opponents against impossible odds.
  
  
  
  Y9S1: Ascend - A Battle for Survival
  The season's lore takes us into the arena of the Khatun Guljin, where Queen Kalliopi and Astrea fight as an unlikely duo for their survival.

  Battle Pass & Legacy Pass
  A new season brings new rewards, and Y9S1 does not disappoint. Warriors will have the chance to claim striking new customization items, from dazzling outfits to powerful executions. The Battle Pass introduces a fierce new aesthetic inspired by the gladiatorial struggles within Khatun Guljin's arena, allowing fighters to embody the spirit of survival and dominance. Meanwhile, the Legacy Pass revives fan-favorite Horkos-themed cosmetics from Y5S1, bringing a touch of the past back into the battlefield.

  New Event with Limited-Time Game Mode 2v2v2:
  A major highlight of Y9S1 is the new 2v2v2 mode "Bound by Blood", inspired by the success of the 1v1v1 mode. Players will team up with a partner to fight against two other teams in intense battles. We are excited to see how different hero combinations will play out.

  Quality-of-Life Updates
  This season brings a lot of improvements designed to enhance the player experience. The UI team has revamped the multiplayer menu for better accessibility, making it easier to jump into matches.
  A new quick match prompt has been added to the landing menu, streamlining navigation for those eager to get straight into battle.
  The Faction War screen has also been updated to provide clearer and more engaging information.
  Customization has seen major upgrades as well, with more loadout slots now available, the ability to customize material color by body part, and a new "Equip for All" option for Mood Effects, allowing for greater flexibility in personalizing heroes.
  Meanwhile, the scoreboard now includes online performance icons and a cooldown timer display for feats, giving players better real-time insights into their matches.

  A New Hero Skin Joins the Fray
  Headlining the update is a brand-new Hero Skin for the Aramusha, The Warrior Prince, inspired by the prince in The Warrior Within. In a dedicated Hero Skin Deep Dive, we showcased the design, storytelling, and inspiration behind this latest look. This skin is available on April 24th.

  

  A Beloved Event Returns
  You asked, and it's back---one of For Honor's most beloved Prince of Persia event Blades of Persia makes a triumphant return! The Event Blades of Persia will be available from April 24th to May 15th! Be sure to participate for the duration of the event to fight during the Chapter 1 - Ruler of Time Game mode starting from May 24th to May 1st, followed by the Chapter 2 available only from May 1st until the end of the event on May 15th.

  

  Three Hero Fests Incoming
  That's not all---three Hero Fests are lined up, bringing focused celebrations and weeklong opportunities for specific heroes! Hero Fest are:
  Nuxia (May 15th to 22nd)
  Warmonger (May 22nd to 29th)
  Pirate (June 5th to 12th)

  Competitive Circuit Update
  For the fighters hungry for glory, the Competitive Circuit is heating up! We gave a sneak peek at what's next for For Honor's tournament scene. Expect competition, new community opportunities, and upcoming events where the best of the best will clash steel for honor and bragging rights. Whether you're a competitor or a spectator, now's the time to tune in.
  Sign-ups are open for the 4v4 tournament, which will follow a similar format to Friend or Foe. After the 4v4 tournament, there will be a 2v2 tournament in Season 3, and the final tournament of the year in Season 4 will be a 1v1.
  This year's circuit will implement circuit points weighed around individual performance to minimize ties. Points will increase as the circuit progresses, rewarding individuals based on their final standings. The total prize pool across the three tournaments is $18,500 USD!

  

  Y9S1 TU2 is shaping up to be a perfect blend of legacy and innovation. With a new cross-brand Hero Skin, the revival of a fan-favorite event, and balance changes. There will also be a throwback game mode: Chimera Banquet from May 29th to June 5th.

  Welcome to the grand reveal of Year 9 in For Honor!
  Titled "Theaters of War," Year 9 promises a packed calendar full of updates, striking new skins, dangerous new Heroes, and seasonal content to keep our Warriors engaged.
  For this year of continued updates, we have drawn inspiration from our existing game modes to create new content and engaging stories for each season.

  2025 Yearly Roadmap

  

  Here's your comprehensive guide to everything revealed by Daubeny in the Y9 reveal trailer:

  Each Season will be highlighting one game mode with some exciting Events, new realizations, or converted maps depending on the season. Be prepared for Brawl, Duel, Breach, then Dominion to shine!

  Two New Heroes will be added, one Outlander in Season 2 TU2 and one Wu-Lin in Season 4 TU2. As usual, each Hero will have a different gender.

  Two additional converted maps will be made available in the Dominion mode: Be ready to conquer these new territories starting in Season 2 TU1 and Season 4 TU1!

  Hero customization has been enhanced significantly, now with the possibility to customize color and pattern of body parts separately! Starting March 13th, at the launch of Season 1, there will also be 9 Loadout slots unlockable as you increase the reputation level of your Heroes. Be sure to save your best designs!

  The Multiplayer menu will be reworked to increase its readability.

  Reputation level 90 will now be achievable and will reward a new Emote once unlocked!

  6 Hero Skins will be unlockable in:
  Season 1 TU1 and TU2
  Season 2 TU1
  Season 3 TU1 and TU2
  Season 4 TU1

  There will be several events throughout this Year, including the return of beloved and requested ones! You can also expect a few twists, as Daubeny said... Hero Fests, Testing Grounds and New Armor Variations will be part of our continued updates, as usual.

  The Rise of Guljin
  
  For Honor is closing it's eight year with a new hero and a thrilling twist! At the beginning of the season, General Zhi, a cunning Wu-Lin general, offered Astrea the Starfall sword under the guise of forging an alliance. Astrea, ever suspicious, accepted the gift but brought her entire army as a precaution.
  Unbeknownst to her, General Zhi was secretly allied with Guljin, a powerful Mongol Khatun. In a devastating ambush, Guljin's forces overwhelmed Astrea's larger army, leaving Heathmoor under Guljin's control and her twisted vision of peace.

  New Hero : Khatun

  The highlight of the season is the new hero: Guljin, The Khatun. She unified the Mongol tribes into a formidable force. Once dismissed as barbarians, they now command global attention. The Khatuns are brutal assassins, using fear as their primary weapon. Guljin's vision is a peaceful Heathmoor, united under her empire, free from petty wars. She expects her opponents to cower behind their walls until they surrender. To make sure they do, she rewards enemy cowardice while destroying all opposition with spectacular shows of strength.

Throughout the years, we have been building feats that are more unique to the character, and add more to the moveset of their assigned characters. These feats help to add more to the character's personality and the fantasy of playing with the character. We wanted to revisit some of our older feats and give these feats a similar treatment. We start with our beloved Warden for these exciting changes.

  Sohei are warrior monks who wield seven weapons. Under the tutelage of Oniwaka and Master Katashi, Sohei attain spiritual and martial mastery deep in a Myre monastery. To earn the name Sohei, they must train with a single weapon for years before being allowed to move onto the next. Often arrogant, the Sohei accord deep respect to the rare worthy opponent. To have your weapon chosen by a Sohei is the highest honor, for they believe the blade contains the soul of the Samurai. Warriors’ souls thus live on in battle. These collections make the Sohei, quite literally, armies of one.

  FIGHTING STYLE
  Versatile and methodical, the Sohei’s main weapon is the Kama Yari, but they can draw between six secondary weapons to support it. Each secondary hit activates the weapon's Soul with a fiery glow. When all six Soul Weapons are glowing, the Sohei can trigger their signature move, Seven-Force Strike, a monstrous assault of overwhelming strength.

  Year 8 of For Honor is called "Forged in War."

  New features coming to year 8: This includes Converted Maps (in Y8S1 TU2, Cathedral will be converted into a Dominion map), Legacy Pass (bringing back older battle passes and allowing new players to get the content they potentially missed out on) Rep 80 (increased the reputation level from 70 to 80), Arcade Mode free for everyone (starting March 14.) and some new offers for new players! (all players will now have access to weekly Arcade Quests. All players will have the opportunity to unlock many different rewards for free)

  Season 1 is titled "Swords of Ashfield" This season revolves around the Unsung Knight, A lone Warden fighting for resources to help the survivors of the Cataclysm.

  - a new limited time game mode titled "Last Hero Standing", with a free event pass,
  - a new Hero Skin called "The Unsung Knight",
  - a new Battle Pass and for the first time ever, a Legacy Pass.
  - 3 hero fests coming up, Warden on April 4th, Centurion on April 11th and Peacekeeper on April 18th. Also have a throwback event "Rite of Champions" taking place April 11 - 18th.
  - The Testing Grounds will be opening March 21st and will go over some new anti-gank tech.

  New Time Limited Game Mode
  A 1v1v1 free for all where every warrior will need to fend for themselves. The first player to win 3 rounds, wins the match. This game mode is only accessible through matchmaking and is solo queue only.
  The game mode will be available from March 14th to April 4th and will have a free event pass that will be available for all players.
  Some of the rewards from the Free Event Pass:
  - Battle Outfit: Ancient Unity
  - Ornament: Golden Unity
  - Mood Effect: Knights United

  New Hero Skin (Warden)
  "The Unsung Knight" is our new Warden hero skin and will be available March 14th for 25,000 steel. This skin is something that has been requested by the community, a large inspiration derived from the Warden in the first cinematic story

  Régen nagyon sokat nyomtam és kb képben voltam minden karakternek,H mit tudnak. Aztán egyre több kapott unblockablet és sorra jöttek a gyorsabbnál gyorsabb képességek. Nem igazán tudom ezeket már leresgálni így a gyakorlat elmaradt most meg már úgy érzem ,H elölről kellene tanulni az egészet.

  Valamint nagyon gyorsan fel tudott idegesíteni. S ehhez már nincs kedvem igazából.

  Eléggé kitartóak az igaz. Lehet vele játszani egymás után 4-5 meccset is amíg nem jönnek a bullyk. Amúgy Július végén volt egy elírás az új hős (Ocelotl) 2 HUF volt a játékon belül Le is csaptunk rá a feleségemmel. Szóval 4 HUF- ért megvettük neki és nekem is.

  THROWBACK EVENT: BATTLE OF THE ECLIPSE
  From September 1st to September 8th, play the limited-time 4v4 gamemode, Eclipse. Capture the Powered Forge to get the Draconite Scythe and defeat the enemy's Commander.   Nem igazán hittem, hogy meghal. Sőt. Végre ez is egy jó hír. Egy olyan játék a For Honor, amit jó játszani, ha az ember leül a feleségével, barátaival. Mert igaz néha idegesítő a pvp, de nem mindig muszáj azt játszani. Remélem még ugyanennyi ideig megmarad a játék, mert van egy játék, amihez mindig hozzá lehet nyúlni, játszani, ha akar az ember. És ritka játékok között van, amiben nincsen semmi alja dolog. Meg kell hagyni más kiadóknak az ilyen dolgokat, ebben is egyedi ez a játék.

  Final chapter of For Honor’s Year 5: Year of Covenants
  

  

  In Year 6, the world of For Honor is getting bigger and it starts with the arrival of a new group of heroes presented in Y5S4, the Outlanders.

  
  For Honor will be back with another year of new content with Year 6: Lost Horizons, starting March 17th. Year 6 will consist of 4 seasons with 2 new heroes that will be added to the Outlanders, the addition of a new customization option with the Hero Skins, as well as further enhancements of the core combat experience and much more.

  The first new hero will be released in Y6S2 TU2, and the second hero in Y6S4 TU2. Both will bring new elements of combat that differ from the existing factions and we can't wait to see your reaction to how they will shake up the battlefield.

  Of course, more information will come your way when we get closer to the Year 6 Season 1 launch, starting March 17th. In the meantime, for more details about the Year 6, please visit our special article.

  Seasonal cosmetics and a new customization option: Hero Skins

  Along with existing offers such as new unique battle passes each season, themed armor and weapon variations, content of the week; Starting in Y6S1, we will be adding a new customization option to the mix: Hero Skins.

  Hero Skins will be a new option in the hero appearance customization tab. Here, players will be able to select any Hero Skins that are available to the hero that they are looking to customize.
  But what are they? Hero Skins are top-to-bottom designs that affect every element of a hero’s appearance harmoniously. With these full-set designs we can push the boundaries of all the elements composing the hero’s customization and push the fantasy of their identity even more. This includes armor, weapon, body type, skin, facial features in novel ways, and we cannot wait to show you what it looks like!

  For Year 6, we are aiming to release one hero skin per season for a single hero within the current For Honor roster.
  
  When equipped, the Hero Skin will override the customization and body type you already have on your hero while Perks will remain unchanged. You cannot dismantle Hero Skins but some customization elements can be changed such as Color Palettes and Materials.

  The Hero Skin is an additional option for the player to customize their hero. It is important to mention that the traditional customization system remains.
  The Hero Skins can be purchased anytime with Steel or in stores upon their release.
  We will give you more details about the Hero Skins and the season itself in March 2022.

  + tud majd támadás után pisztolyos-featbe menni, ami új játékmechanikai elem, mert eddig egy hős se tud feat-be folyni támadásból

  - és elvileg lesz új map is (vagy nem...)
