  Gameloft is a leading international publisher and developer of video games for mobile phones and consoles. Established in 1999, it has emerged as one of the top innovators in its field. The company creates games for mobile handsets equipped with Java, Brew or Symbian technology. The total number of games-enabled handsets is anticipated to exceed four billion units by 2012. Gameloft games are also available to players on WiiWare and DS, Microsoft’s Xbox LIVE Arcade, Apple’s iPod, iTouch and iPhones, and PCs.

  Job location: Budapest

  Responsibilities:
  The ideal candidate is able to create character concepts, environments and backgrounds in collaboration with the game designer and art director. He creates game interface and menus and makes sure all the graphic assets have a unitary graphic aspect, in accordance with the game’s determined style.

  Requirements:
  - Excellent sense of color, the possibility to create well-balanced color palettes, an ease of transposing ideas into already decided colors.
  - Outstanding drawing and composition skills
  - Knowledge of classical drawing and painting techniques
  - Ability to work in an already defined style is a plus
  - Skill with Photoshop or 3D development tools is a plus
  - 3D modeling experience in low and high poly is a plus
  - Experience in texturing is a plus
