  Below you will find the latest changes for the upcoming game update.

  General

  • Ingame Map Distribution
  It is now possible to upload maps created by users to the server. Other users are then able to see them in a list and can choose to download a map from the server. You can also download a map by joining a match with a map you do not have on your local storage device. If you ever wanted to see your map in the game, now is the perfect moment to have people enjoy what you created. Find more information on how to upload a map in the BattleForge forums.

  • Avatar Change
  You can now permanently change the ingame avatar by right-clicking on a card in your inventory and clicking on “Set as Avatar”. Each change costs 499 BattleForge points. In addition, we increased the number of avatars on character creation.

  • Unit selection
  Selection behavior when selecting units in the game has been improved. It is now easier to select small units and squads in the heat of battle.

  Cards

  • Thugs
  Looter: The percentage based amount of generated energy has been reduced.

  • Strikers
  Looter: The percentage based amount of generated energy has been slightly reduced.

  • Sandstorm
  The duration has been reduced from 20 seconds to 15 seconds.
  Fire affinity: The card blocking zone around the storm will now stick closer to the center of the spell. This change makes playing cards around it easier.
  Shadow affinity: The corruptive aura around the storm will now stick closer to the center of the spell.

  • Church of Negation
  Energy costs have been increased from 100 to 150.

  • Sun Reaver
  Burning Paws: The ability can now stack 10 times instead of 5. The damage per stack has been reduced from 25 to 12.

  • Home Soil
  The duration has been reduced from 30 seconds to 20 seconds.
  The damage buff has been reduced from 40/45/50/55 to 40/42/45/50.

  Bugfixes

  - Fixed several bugs related to losing control over a unit.
  - Fixed a bug that caused a missing mission objective on “Nightmare Shard”.
