  Software Developer

  Description:
  Fixed network design and maintenance team is searching for Software Developers for AXD and TGC node maintenance. AXD and TGC are Media Gateway and Gateway Controller nodes in the Telephony SoftSwitch Solution within Wireline Portfolio.
  As a Software Developer in our team you will analyse complex problems found in our nodes in live customer networks from all over the world. During investigations you will have to analyse logs from various sources, initiate and examine traces and IP protocol captures. Broad scale of informatics methods are used during the daily work. In some cases logging into live customer nodes is necessary.

  Tasks:
  • Participation in software maintenance
  • Troubleshooting & correcting errors
  • Securing high product quality
  • Documentation of code changes

  Requirements:
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
  • min 3yrs of experience in IT telecommunication sector
  • Eager to learn
  • Good command of English, both in oral and written form

  Advantages:
  • Functional programming language knowledge (i.e. Erlang, Haskell)
  • IP network knowledge (backbone, routing protocols)
  • Shell scripting
  • Telephony protocols (SIP, H.323, etc.)
  • SNMP
