  Gameloft is a leading international publisher and developer of video games for mobile phones and consoles. Established in 1999, it has emerged as one of the top innovators in its field. The company creates games for mobile handsets equipped with Java, Brew or Symbian technology. The total number of games-enabled handsets is anticipated to exceed four billion units by 2012. Gameloft games are also available to players on WiiWare and DS, Microsoft’s Xbox LIVE Arcade, Apple’s iPod, iTouch and iPhones, and PCs.

  Job location: Budapest

  Requirements:
  - Experienced with PHP 5, MySQL 5 and database optimization techniques (a portofolio with your specific contribution outlined is mandatory)
  - Good English speaking and writing.
  - Any experience with Python / C++/ C# / ActionScript / Flex could be a big plus
  - Very good communication skills and ability to integrate quickly in a team.
  - Strong analytical skills.
  - Self motivated and resourceful.
  - Rigor, autonomy and organizational skills are essential.
  - Ability to work as a team player, initiative and openness

  Responsibilities:
  - Development of scalable/distributed frameworks (applications and systems) to support multiplayer and social games (PHP5, Mysql5, Linux, Apache)
  - Development of support tools for Multiplayer and Social games
  Maintain and optimize existing application
