  Java developers
  For our Budapest Office

  There are multiple opportunities for experienced Java Developers in our Budapest office.

  Projects we are currently working on are the following:
  • IT Credit team is providing solutions for controlling credit risk for counterparties we trade with, addressing internal and regulatory requirements.
  • Market Risk IT team is working on risk reporting systems involving market risk, credit risk and operational risk, using Java technology backend, DB2 behind and Spring.
  • Firm Risk Management team is working on a project which is targeting to create a web-based user interface that allows to link risks found by internal and external regulators with action items.
  • Anti Money Laundering team is developing Java based applications and the management of all information technology aspects of the process of anti money laundering and sanction list enforcement activities at the Firm.
  • Detailed Sub-Ledger team designs and creates the core platform for the new high volume, real time booking system.
  • Credit Risk Trading Technology is providing a full cycle development of the software used by Credit Default Swap traders to trade, risk manage and see profit & loss.
  • E-trading team delivers increased automation to the trading desks and expands electronic trading capabilities into new business areas.
  • IRD Commerce Model Integration team is developing the next-generation of the software that collects, propagates and reports trade facts & events, market risk and profit & loss for the interest rate derivatives business

  Skills desired:
  • 3+ hands-on Java development experience
  • Strong fundamental technology skills (OO design, threading)
  • JUnit, Design Patterns, Ant build framework
  • Experience with Web services technologies (XML, SOAP, XSD)
  • Relational database programming (JDBC, Hibernate,)
  • Spring
  • Basic understanding of Unix shell scripting or Perl)
  • Good organization and coordination skills
  The ideal candidate is:
  • Detail-oriented and disciplined but with the ability to work on short deadlines on occasion
  • Strong interest in learning about the business environment and working with multiple business users groups in different locations across the world
  Good verbal and written communication skills in English is a must.
