  Application Developer Consultant.NET Specialist, Hungary

  Application Developer Consultant delivers first class high-end support for Microsoft Premier Customers. As a developer with project experience you are serving our largest and most important customers in the region. You participate in various phases of software projects for several weeks in strong collaboration with the customer, both at the customer site and remotely. Your key to success is your quick integration with the customer's team, fast knowledge transfer and coordination as well as utilizing resources from various teams within Microsoft.

  Role Purpose:

  As a Senior .NET Specialist you are comfortable with using architectural patterns like MVVM and ensuring optimal communication paths to backend systems. Your passionate efforts help us in our exciting mission of introducing Windows 8, e.g. when you advice customers on the architecture of their new Windows 8 App or Browser SPA, or act as a Trusted Advisor when asked by developers about particular APIs, etc.

  As an ADC you know exactly what it is like to be a senior developer, what trends are emerging in the community and how you can collaborate with your peers. You deliver presentations and courses on your own, being able to share your knowledge both at high level and in technical details.
  You possess exceptional knowledge and proven experience in Microsoft development technologies, and experience in development lifecycles. You possess the ability to diagnose and resolve problems in a wide spectrum of Microsoft technologies.

  Technical requirements:
  Ideally you have several of the following skills:
  - More than 5 years of experience in .NET application development
  - More than 3 years of experience in Sharepoint development
  - Multiple years of experience in software development projects or enterprise-level support or team leadership
  - Solid knowledge of designing multi-layered applications and mastering .NET architecture best practices
  - Knowledge about the entire .NET stack, ranging from UI and communication frameworks to backend technologies, ideally with experience in debugging and profiling in these areas
  - Awareness of current development philosophies like Lean and Agile methods, Test-Driven Development, Model-Driven - Testing or Cloud Computing

  Expectations include:
  - Colleague or University degree
  - Confident presentation skills and strong communications
  - Fluent Hungarian language knowledge
  - Excellent spoken and written English
  - Team spirit and passion for complex challenges
  - Positive, constructive manner, as well as a result-driven approach and passion for quality
  - Effective time management and mobility

  Advantages:
  - MCSE/MCPD certification
  - Database development, design and ORM skills (preferably with SQL server)
  - Knowledge of at least one area of the following: Parallel Computing, SOA, Mobile Apps, Code
  - Contracts, Functional Programming or Dynamic Programming
  - Knowledge of component-oriented architecture and guidance of Pattern & Practices
  - Knowledge in areas of test methodologies
  - Experience with UML, BPMN, Statechart modelling
  - ISTQB or similar certification
