  The driver is not signed. 2012 does not allow installation of unsigned drivers.

  BUT this is your lucky day. Since driver development stopped, the driver was never updated to be package aware. You will be able to install this on Win8 client build or 2008R2 or Win7, then take a backup using printbrm.exe. Since the driver is not package aware, printbrm.exe will backup / install the driver using the files rather than reviewing the bogus cat (security) file that came with the driver.

  During the restore process, this driver corrupts the memory of the print spooler service so the service will terminate. You can set driver isolation by policy or perform the work during off hours. At some point set isolation on this driver.

  There are kernel security changes that can block functionality of older print drivers so once you have the driver installed (restored) make sure it is working properly.
