  - Positional sounds are confined to a two dimensional plane
  - Directional accuracy of positional sounds is high near the speaker locations but poorer elsewhere, such as between the speakers and inside their perimeter
  - Speakers that excel in directional accuracy are less able to convey a convincing sense of true immersion, while speakers that diffuse sound are less able to localize accurately
  - Current systems cannot create a true sense of immersion in the sound field. The sound always appears to be coming from the speaker locations or the perimeter of the room

  Many of these limitations can be overcome by technologies available today, but they lack sufficient information on which to be implemented. Our current channel based audio ecosystem restricts the amount of information available to the playback system by essentially “baking the cake”, taking hundreds of sound elements and reducing them down to a fixed configuration of channels.

  Most importantly, when these issues are properly addressed the audio experience far exceeds what is the currently accepted standard, creating excitement and emotional impact well beyond today’s “surround sound”.

  Ez elég jól leírja, hogy mit ad az MDA, illetve hozzáadja még az interaktivitást.
  Amit belül számol a program azon nem is akarnak szerintem változtatni. Az lenne a lényeg, hogy az egész életszerűbben jusson el hozzád. Közel 75 éves alapokra építve ez nem könnyű manapság. Ezért az új technológia.
