Nincs ötletetek, hogy mit ronthattam el? Lefordítottam a 2.6.7-es kernelt s ki van feszülkve tõle az 1300-as duronom, még a TV-tuner képe is akad TVtime-al. A videókártya Riva TNT2 16MB-os, a disztribúció UHU 1.1. S ha ez megoldódik, hogy lehet megoldani az automount-ot? Köszi szépen a válaszokat elõre is!Linux.... The choice of a GNU generation.

Ez a legújabb driver? csak mert én úgy tudom hogy csak a legújabb verzió (néhány napja jött ki ha jóltudom) támogatja 2.6-os kerneleket. Meg a másik dolog hogy az nvidia asszem modul szinten működő driver és ehhez kell egy modutils nevű csomag (legalábbis debian alatt így van) amely külön van 2.4-hez és 2.6-hoz, vagyis ha a disztro alapból 2.4-es kernel köré épül és te 2.6-ost forgatsz alá akkor kell újabb modutil-t is telepíteni.. de lehet hogy most nagy hülyeséget montam

Elméletileg annak csak gyorsítani kellene, de lassít Hmmm, s volt még egy: mikor bevágja az agpgart modult a chipsetre aszondja p4x266 s ez pedig kt266. Baj lehet? Meg az van még, hogy mikor ilyenkor belövi a framebuffert, egy jó pár sor fehérség, aztán utána kezdi eltũntetni, s lesz rendes szöveg.

Jól néz ki a DMA, meg a MAC cím
Be van kapcsolva a kernel config-ban, hogy CONFIG_IDEDMA_PCI_AUTO. Ez asszem valami 'Use DMA by default when available' címen fut a menüs configban.
Mit ír ki a 'hdparm -v /dev/hda'?
Ugyanis én megjártam ezzel. A nyomi gép baromi lassú volt, és akkor látom nincs bekapcsolva a DMA a disk-re...

hát pont azt nem akarom Az van amúgy Azzal ment is idáig rendesen. Eddig próbálgattam az újabb nVidia drivert, most visszamentem a régire, mintha egy hangyapucányit jobb, de pl. eddig 2.4-es kernellel a TVTime csak úgy 50%-ra fogta meg max a gépet deinterlacing-el, de most megszívatja 95-100-ra is Ennyire gyenge egy 1300-as Duron?

Olyan Van valami userspace progi, de a make install után el is felejtettem Elég jól viselkedik idáig, de kifeszül, hogyha winex alatt kell cd-t cserélni, s nem engedi ki sehogy sem a CD fiókját. Supermount nekem nem tetszik, nekem volt mandrake-en, de ahogy kivettem egy cd-t s tettem be mást, egy csomó kérdõjelt mutatott a CD tartalma helyett

Valami csak nem jó.
Nem tudjátok, UHU milyen automount-ot használ? A másik, nem tudok cd-t írni, eddig ment, le van fordítva az ide-scsi modulba, s ha kernel parancssorba megadom, hogy ¨hdc=ide-scsi¨ rá se ránt, amúgy régi kernellel nem is volt ilyen. Ugye, én vagyok a béna?Linux.... The choice of a GNU generation.

Automout ötletem nincs.
Viszont a CD-íráshoz: nem kell ide-scsi, meg ilyenek. Csak töltsd le a legújabb cdrtools-t (asszem 2.0.05-ös, vagy ilyesmi verziónál tart), és használd így:
gep:# cdrecord dev=ATAPI -scanbus
Ez kiírja, hogy melyik device-on vannak CD/DVD írók/olvasók, legyen pl. 0,0,0 a CD-íród ID-je. Ekkor így tudsz írni:
gep:# cdrecord dev=ATAPI:0,0,0 speed=12 fs=16m ....
Szóval nem kell semmiféle SCSI tökölés, én is így írok CD/DVD-ket...Raw Dark Pure

Újra felhozom feledésbõl a topikot. Azóta Slackware van, de nem hagy nyugodni az eset Tehát: Slackware 10, NVIDIA-1.0-5336, kernel 2.6.8-rc2. Ugyanazt csinálja, bár mostmár nem tünik annyira lassúnak, de pl. TVTime másodpercenként akad egyet, amit nem tudom, hogy mivel küszöbölhetnék ki. Ötlet? Preemptible kikapcsolva, framebuffer kikapcsolva, agpgart kikapcsolva. Tehát az NVIDIA gart-driverrel kéne menjen.
Más kérdések:
Hogy lehet engedélyezni halt/reboot/poweroff/shutdown-t sima usereknek? chmod a+rwx /sbin/shutdown?
Játékban nem megy a(z USB) gamepad-em, pedig fizikailag ok, ha cat /dev/input/js0 akkor ha mozgatom, jön folyamatosan a keksz a képernyõre de pl. Supertux azt mondja, hogy joystick found...

köszi. Mivel a probléma adott, légyszi, próbálj meg Tee is vmi tippet adni, mit kezdjek, mert idegesít, hogy ilyen néma vagyok a 2.6.7-es kernellel szemben
Már csak azért is, mert legalább 30szor vagy tapasztaltabb annyi év pingvintartás után
